# Dashboard

There are three ways to create and manage midpoints: the [Midpoint dashboard](/midpoint-documentation/using-midpoint/dashboard.md), the [Midpoint CLI](/midpoint-documentation/using-midpoint/midpoint-cli.md),  and the [Midpoint GraphQL API](/midpoint-documentation/using-midpoint/graphql-api.md). These three methods have equivalent functionality. We recommend the dashboard for first-time users and the CLI for production applications. Both the dashboard and the CLI wrap the API.
